Swampside

The worst part of the refugee built shanty town around Port Drambath is built next to, and in most cases over or on The Serpent Mire swamp. Conditions are often horrendous with whole families sharing poorly constructed shacks which collapse in a stiff breeze. The newly formed guard does not dare enter Swampside after dark and the strong take whatever they can from the weak in the struggle for survival. Swampside is also rife with gangs may of whom are composed of peoples of the same nationality or race, these gangs clash frequently for control of the streets. most Swampsiders survive on a diet of frogs, snakes, and when they are lucky fish from the Serpent Mire.
