Summary:

I want Kleethorpes to gain entry to the Brotherhood of the Cowl, and would rather RP something out, preferably with some appropriate challenges than simply say he gets in.

The Brotherhood of the Cowl: Powerful group of Arcanist and Psionicists originally from Denab now accepting members from anywhere capable of using spells/powers of the third tier (3rd level spells/powers). Located - for the most part - in an old lighthouse, called The Tower of Illumination.

The game would need to be run between 1pm and 7pm EST during the week, as I am on GMT and will be working this weekend (if its not to windy).

If you hold it on tuesday, let me know; I'll attend and bring Zilpah with, seeing as it is a society that she may deal well with, though she isn't able to cast 3rd lvl spells just yet. Needs to level.

Had three offers to DM, so if more than one is interested I would love to do a longer test thing. Anything to play more, lol. I do definitely want to keep the Brotherhood to those capable of manifesting/casting and it is designed as exlusively arcane/psionic. Why not knock up and Archivist organization for Zilpah, or I can if you like. Hmmm, thinking…

Wow didn't know that, so the brotherhood is dogmatist and Sexist; Lovly. May have to rp this out eventualy; but just let it be known, I don't want a Domonion. However I understand if its needed for a store front. Also, does this mean I have to retro activly lose all my spells that I have bought from them, or just say I bought them else where?

Well I'm not worried about it they are devoted to knowledge afterall. But there does seem to me to be an important distinction between arcane and divine magic, with psionics falling far closer to arcanists. Even archivists fluff as written seems to support this if I remember rightly - it is very possible I don't.

I think for me Archivists are more likely to be tied to Churches of knowledge Dieties, and perhaps even have an organization of their own. Something more like an association of Archivists from different Churches rather than a true guild.
