Fredrick entered the Temple of Pelor looking for Commander Alexander. After yelling at a young cleric for no reason, a paladin hears the yelling and escorts him to Commander Alexander's chamber.
Walking in, Fredrick bows to the elder paladin and stands at attention.
"Commander Alexander, Thank you for seeing me on such short notice. I have a very big problem and I am in need of guidance." Fredrick said as Alexander motioned for him to take a seat.
With a thoughtful nod, Alexander put his hand up to ease the nerves of Fredrick.
"I am fully aware of your problem young paladin. Women seem to be a weakness of all men, even we paladins. Though such a betrayal is cause for you to strike her down on sight, I would advise against it. My sources say she has not attacked anyone outside the island and is consolidating the small population. Maybe you can find a middle ground to deal with the problem." states the elder paladin.
"So I can give her a chance to live?" asks Fredrick in a thoughtful tone.
"Sure young one. Heironus may be the god of honor and justice, but he does believe in saving lost souls. Your actions can rub off on another. That is why it is important for us to be virtuous at all times my brother." reminded Alexander.
"I see Commander. What would constitute letting her live. Can I just allow her to apologize?" asks Fredrick.
Rubbing his graying beard, Alexander remarks, "That would most likely appease Heironus, but you also must remember she has tricked and is playing on the kara kara's own legends and religion. Such an a front to free will also demands retribution. It is one thing to follow one willing, it is another to put one's self into a position of power under false pretense. I would ask that you have her relinguish the amulet to you for destruction. Such an artifact is an a front to all the gods of good."
"I see. What if she refuses? I do not have the resources to go after her on the island." replies Fredrick.
"Since it is a matter of honor, I would aid you in your quest to gain your honor back if you have to attack her domain. I have around 10 well trained paladins, but we have several clerics that would aid you as well. Of course you would need to provide additional men, maybe the brave adventurers you have journeyed with already. I only ask that you give her a chance to hand over the amulet peacefully." replies Alexander.
"Of course Commander Alexander. I will do as you have advised. Once I obtain the amulet, shall I give it to you for it to be destroyed, or take care of it myself?" Fredrick asks.
"Bring it directly to me. Then you and any others that go with you, may attend the destruction of the artifact. It should have been destroyed a long time ago, but as is always the case, things fall through the cracks over time." replies Alexander.
Getting up Fredrick bows to Alexander. "I thank you sire for your advice and aid. I will wait until she shows back up in town, giving her the chance to hand over the amulet peacefully. If she doesn't I do ask that the temple be kind enough to heal or raise her if it comes to that." Fredrick asks as he stands tall before the elder paladin.
Alexander takes a moment to think, "For your service to the temple already, I would vouch for her to be raised, if that is your wish. Good luck young paladin." says Alexander as he shakes the young paladin's hand as Fredrick leaves the temple heading back to the Water Dragon Inn.
